De Smet offensive line prospect Mike Cunningham spent the weekend visiting the campus of University of Toledo. He left impressed by the experience. "The campus was really beautiful, " Cunningham reported, "and their winning culture is really incredible."
The Rockets have a winning culture for sure, finishing the 2023 season with 11 wins and an Arizona Bowl berth. And it's no surprise that they would target a prospect like Mike Cunningham.
A four year starter at De Smet Jesuit, Cunningham has seen and done nearly everything. He has anchored an offensive line to back to back final four appearances, and along the way won every honor possible. All State, All Metro, All District, All League and Academic All State. At 6'03 and 293 pounds Cunningham is a powerhouse and will add value to any program.
He also plans to visit Northern Illinois before the end of the month.
