KING HEATING UP

Ames, IA.

De Smet Jesuit 2025 linebacker Jason King has been busy with college visits this fall. In the last month he’s been to Ohio State, Nebraska, and most recently Iowa State. After a meeting with Iowa State coach Matt Campbell. the Cyclones extended an offer to the dynamic linebacker.

When asked his opinions on the Cyclones, King remarked: “Iowa State has great coaching staff and amazing facilities. They have a great culture and it's easy to tell why they're so successful.”

This is King’s second Power 5 offer this week as Kentucky offered him after watching him during De Smet‘s spring football practice Tuesday.

Jason will attend Iowa State‘s spring football game today before returning home to St. Louis.

The sophomore LB was an All Conference selection in the Metro Catholic league in 2022. He totaled 90 tackles along with 2 sacks and 2 interceptions. He figures to be a major part of the Spartans plans in 2023. In the meanwhile, expect his recruiting to continue to heat up.
